The project is about "An Analysis of Figurative Language Used in five Formal Master of Ceremony Scripts"�. It was conducted to inform readers to know more about the way how to write good scripts and to persuade the audience by using figurative language. The writer of MC script could create an interesting script using figurative language, words choices, good rhymes that make the audience attract. This final project used qualitative research methodology. The data are five formal Master of Ceremony scripts and then they were analysed one by one. The figurative language found in five Formal master of ceremony scripts are assonance, anaphora, alliteration, personification, idiom. The figurative language expressions mostly used are assonance and anaphora. They are followed by simile, metaphor, synecdoche, hyperbole, metonymy, symbolism, and paradox. As a conclusion, script writers must have innovative and interesting writing style so that their script will attract and motivate audience. They have to use figurative language creatively in the scripts. In addition, they also have to create a melodious rhyme of making interesting words through audience, indeed it will be remembered by the audience and motivated them rather than it is expressed by simple words or sentences.
