This study entitled "An analysis of grammatical error and punctuation of business E-mail found in Pengadaan Luar Negeri Division at PT INTI (Persero) Company"�,the object was its business email in order to analyze grammatical errors and punctuations. The amount of email analyzed was 20 outgoing emails, and the case of email chosen is ordering letter and inquiry letter. Also, this study used qualitative and quantitative research to analyze the data and count on it. The result of the analysis shows that there are 150 errors found, which are 26 parts of speech (8 prepositions, 6 conjunctions, 6 pronouns, 4 verbs, and 2 possessive adjectives), 22 articles (22 articles the"�), 14 tenses (6 present continuous tenses, 3 simple present tenses, 2 simple future tenses, 1 past perfect tense, 1 present perfect tense, and 1 passive voice).Moreover, it has been found that lots of errors are not the same as the theory used.From this study, it is hoped to decrease grammatical errors and punctuations since business writing in email is a presentation of company image.
