This research entitled An Analysis of Persuasive Language in English Course Brochures in Bandung. This research analyzes 25 sentences from 11 English course brochures which are known to use English and persuasive language. This research aims to identify types of persuasive language and the types mostly used in English course brochures, and to analyze the intended meaning behind the use of persuasive language. This research employs four theories of persuasive language. Qualitative method is applied to conduct this research. The data collections are done by collecting data, selecting data, and recording data. To analyze the data, several steps are done such as identifying sentences in the brochures, classifying the sentences into persuasive language types, analyzing the sentences, and counting the types of persuasive language. The result shows that 12 persuasive language types are used such as inclusive language, emotive language, rhetorical question, repetition and metaphor. Then, inclusive language type is mostly used in the English course brochures and the intended meaning is used to convince, influence and give readers confidence to learn English at the English course that they advertised.
