This study entitled An Analysis of Persuasive Language of Advertisements in Vogue Magazine. This study aimed to find types of persuasive language, the hidden meaning, and the purpose (text & picture) in Vogue magazine advertisements. The limitation of this study is ten advertisement of June 2016, July 2016, August 2016, December 2016 and January 2017 Vogue magazine editions. This analysis focuses on five parts of advertisements: headline, sub-headline, image, benefit, and call-to-action that are used to find the persuasive language used and hidden meaning in the advertisement. The result of this analysis shows most of the advertisement in Vogue magazine has a hidden meaning. Besides that, two persuasive languages become most persuasive languages used in ten Vogue magazine advertisements are inclusive language and repetition because the first show togetherness between the advertiser (insider) and the reader (outsider) meanwhile the used of the repetition to make the reader memorize them easily.
