This final project title is "An Analysis of Spoken Language in the Press Conference of Football." The press conference of football which is taken is from the Barclays Premier League (England Football League). The aim of the research is to find out the features of spoken language in the press conference of football and to find out the meaning of what people said in the press conference of football with the term of the spoken language features. The theories from Queen Mary University website are used for analyzing the spoken language in the press conference of football. There are fifteen theories from the website altogether; however, there are three features which are applied, they are deixis (58%), non-fluency Features (28%), and non-standard grammar (14%).
