The Gate of Pasir Koja Freeway is one of the entrance for vehicles that come in
and out Bandung, the growth of traffic and the use of Cipularang freeway have
increased the number of vehicles passing through. The Pasir Koja freeway, thus
the use of this freeway should be examined thoroughly.
This last assignment is based on the great number of the vehicles that usually
cause the traffic jam in the freeway entrance. This estimation is conducted for the
year 2007, 2008, and 2013 by considering the increase of the vehicles due to the
use of Pasir Koja freeway. This issue is caused by the queueing line of the
vehicles in the freeway entrance. The best solution to this matter is by improving
the time of the service, adding the number of service post and applying the
tandem sistem. These meansures are intended to decrease the long line of vehicles
and to optimize the opening sistem of the Pasir Koja freeway making it effective
and efficient so that us, as the user of the freeway, feel save and comportable.
Basically, this research is a descriptive explorative, essay taking place the gate of
Pasir Koja freeway. The Method of this research is through observation and
documentation, technique parameter of the long line using the simplex method,
probability theory, and the traffic volume.
The result shows that LHRT (the avarage of the vehicles volume in one year) in
2003 – 2006 has increased due to the use of Cipularang freeway. Then in October
2005 the number decreased caused by the increase of freeway fee and the increase
of the fuel price.
