PT. Tiga Meru Abadi merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang desain interior dengan aktivitas utama penjualan jasa desain. Penjualan jasa desain dilakukan secara kredit. Aktivitas penjualan dalam suatu perusahaan dianggap sebagai suatu bagian penting karena transaksi penjualan akan menimbulkan penerimaan kas yang merupakan sumber penyedia dana bagi aktivitas operasional perusahaan. Pencatatan penjualan dan penerimaan kas pada sistem informasi akuntansi penjualan yang diterapkan perusahaan masih dilakukan secara manual pada formulir order penjualan dan bukti kas masuk yang kemudian direkap menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Kerapkali terjadi kesalahan input oleh karyawan (human error) yang menyebabkan data tidak akurat, lambat untuk diproses dan tidak menyediakan informasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada, penulis tertarik untuk menganalisis dan merancang program aplikasi penjualan yang sesuai dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan perusahaan. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analitif, dan melakukan wawancara serta observasi untuk mengumpulkan data yang diperlukan. Kemudian dilakukan proses analisis dan perancangan sistem menggunakan Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010 yang terintegrasi dengan Microsoft Access. Penulis berharap perancangan aplikasi sistem informasi akuntansi penjualan yang sudah terkomputerisasi dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mmaksimalkan teknologi informasi yang tersedia dan meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas kerja karyawan. On sales accounting information system applied, sales and cash receipt record still done manually in sales order and cash receipt form which is then recapitulated using Microsoft Excel. Incorrect input by the employees (human error) cannot be avoided which causes an inaccurate data, delayed the processed and do not provide the needs of information. To overcome existing problems, the author interested to analyzing and designing the application sales program in accordance with the conditions and needs of the company. The author uses descriptive analytic research method, and conduct interviews and observation to collect the necessary data. Then started doinganalysis and design system using Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010 which is integrated with Microsoft Access. The author hopes the design of the application sales program can assist companies in maximizing information technology and improve efficiency and effectiveness of employees.
