DPRD Jawa Barat mempunyai insfrastruktur sistem informasi dan jaringa komputer untuk membantu dalam menjalankan fungsinya. Namun berdasarkan hasil pengamatan inventarisasi terdapat jenis ancaman serangan pada jaringan komputer di DRPD Provinsi Jawa Barat yaitu DDos, deface, illegal access server, spam, virus, malware, content illegal dan Spoofing. Salah satu sistem keamanan untuk mengatasi ancaman serangan tersebut yaitu dengan Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewall. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu PPDIOO merupakan singkatan dari Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, dan Optimize Cisco. Lifecycle Services adalah pendekatan dengan enam fase. Pada penelitian ini menekankan pada analisis data Ãâ data jaringan komputer dan ancaman penyerangan serta melakukan pengujian penyerangan pada topology komputer yang berjalan dengan menggunakan sistem keamanan jaringan Unified Threat Mangement (UTM) firewall berbasis Linux. Berdasarkan pengujian dengan metode blackbox yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewall di DPRD Provinsi Jawa Barat mengatasi ancaman serangan seperti DDos, deface web, access illegal database, virus, malware, spam dan spoofing. Dalam mengatasi acamana tersebut diterapkanya kombinasi antara sistem keamanan seperti firewall, Intrusion Prevent System (IPS), anti-virus, anti-spam, content web filtering dan notification email dari masing- masing ancaman serangan.

DPRD West Java has the infrastructure of information systems and computer networks to assist in carrying out its functions. However, based on observations of the inventory are the type of threat attacks on computer networks in West Java province that DRPD DDos, deface, illegal access server, spam, viruses, malware, illegal content and Spoofing. One of the security systems to address the threat of such attacks is by Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewall. The method used in this research is PPDIOO that stands for Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize. Cisco Lifecycle Services approach with six phases. In this study emphasis on data analysis - Data Network and the threat of attacks as well as testing the assault on a computer that runs topology, using network security systems Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewall based on Linux. Based on testing that has been done it can be concluded that with the implementation of Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewall in the West Java Provincial Parliament addressing threats such as DDoS attacks, deface web, illegal access database, virus, malware, spamming and spoofing. In addressing this threat to apply combination of security systems such as firewalls, Intrusion Prevent System (IPS), anti-virus, anti-spam, Web content filtering and email notification of each threat of attack.
