ABSTRACT
This report has been prepared as the result of the research in PT Pertamina and the main topic of the research is motivation. One of management jobs is to motivate the employees. Highly motivated employees can yield high work performance. Basically, Maslow believes there are five levels of needs that motivate people. The five need are physiological, safety, social, esteem and self-actualization needs. The research tries to identify the most motivated needs for the employees in Pertamina. With used SPSS version 11.5 for windows program, the research has found that the need for safety relative not full amongst the five of them. It is shown by the value of 3,7432.
