Situs posindonesia.co.id merupakan website yang dimiliki oleh BUMN PT POS INDONESIA (Persero) yang berfungsi sebagai penyedia informasi kepada pengguna terkait layanan POS. Terdapat beberapa fasilitas dalam website ini, antara lain profil perusahaan, pengecekan pengiriman, pengecekan kode pos, pengecekan biaya, pencarian alamat kantor pos, penyampaian komplain dan lain-lain. Untuk pengembangan selanjutnya, Sub Direktorat Teknologi POS INDONESIA ingin mengembangkan website POS INDONESIA guna meningkatkan pelayanannya, akan tetapi Sub Direktorat Teknologi POS INDONESIA belum mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat penerimaan website terhadap penggunanya. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut guna melihat tingkat penerimaan website POS INDONESIA sehingga pengembangan website tepat sasaran. Salah satu model untuk menjelaskan penerimaan pengguna (user acceptance) dalam bidang Sistem Informasi dikembangkan oleh Venkatesh, et. al . Model ini diberi nama the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Penelitian ini mengambil sample sebanyak 389 responden untuk populasi tak tentu, analisis yang dilakukan berupa analisis multivariate dan data diuji dengan uji validitas, uji reabilitas serta path diagram untuk menentukan hasil hipotesis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini ditemukan faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan pengguna website POS INDONESIA adalah ekspektasi usaha, ekspektasi kinerja, pengaruh sosial dan kondisi fasilitas. Rekomendasi untuk perbaikan website terhadap pengguna adalah dengan memberikan kemudahan akses transaksi fitur-fitur dan adanya pengenalan website kepada pengguna baik dari pihak POS maupun lingkungan sekitar agar tercipta niatan menggunakan sistem secara berkelanjutan.
