Dalam bidang akuntansi, sistem pemrosesan informasi akuntansi berbasis komputer banyak ditawarkan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan bagi para akuntan untuk menghasilkan informasi yang dapat dipercaya, relevan, tepat waktu, lengkap, dapat dipahami, dan teruji. Dalam era bisnis global, pengaruh kemajuan teknologi informasi tidak dapat dihindarkan lagi, seperti penggunaan telepon, faksimili, komputer, dan satelit dalam berbagai aktivitas sarana berkomunikasi perusahaan. Teknologi informasi memungkinkan manusia untuk memperoleh informasi dari tempat yang berjauhan dalam waktu yang singkat dan dengan biaya yang murah. br /br /br /br /br /br /
Dalam penyelesaian tugas akhir ini, penulis menyajikan hasil penelitian terhadap proses system informasi transfer uang RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) pada Bank Jabar Banten Cabang Utam Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses transaksi transfer uang RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement), mulai dari proses penginputan sampai output yang dihasilkan dari proses transaksi tersebut, serta kendala atau risiko yang dihadapi. br /br /br /br /br /br /
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriftif yaitu suatu metode dalam meneliti status sekelompok manusia, suatu kondisi, suatu pemikiran ataupun suatu kegiatan peristiwa dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta, sifat-sifat antara fenomena yang diselidiki. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data untuk memahami proses transaksi transfer uang RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) pada Bank Jabar Banten adalah dengan melakukan observasi, pengamatan, dan wawancara dengan bagian yang terkait. br /br /br /br /br /br /
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian atas proses transaksi transfer uang RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) melalui analisis bahwa proses sistem informasi yang dilakukan pada Bank Jabar Banten dapat dikatakan cukup baik , karena proses sistem informasi dimulai dari transaksi, kemudian penginputan menggunakan sistem komputerisasi yang telah sesuai dengan standar Bank Indonesia. br /
