Busway merupakan alat transportasi yang banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat di kota besar karena diyakini dapat mengatasi masalah kemacetan, tarifnya yang murah, cepat, aman, dan nyaman. Akan tetapi, selama beberapa tahun ini pengembangan dan pengelolaan busway tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah belum adanya sistem informasi posisi busway yang bekerja secara otomatis. Oleh karena itu, pada proyek akhir ini akan direalisasikan sebuah aplikasi GPS sebagai sistem informasi posisi busway menggunakan Arduino Uno sebagai kontrolernya dan dilengkapi pengeras suara serta LCD pada output. Sistem ini akan secara otomatis memberitahukan kepada penumpang mengenai posisi busway melalui pengeras suara dan LCD disertai informasi tujuan halte berikutnya. Alat ini dibuat untuk memudahkan pengemudi dan meningkatkan kenyamanan serta kepuasan penumpang ketika menggunakan fasilitas busway dengan adanya informasi halte. Busway is a public transportation that is widely used by people in big cities because it is believed to be able to overcome the problem of congestion, the price is cheap, fast, safe, and comfortable. However, for several years the development and management of busway is not appropriate with expectations. One reason is the lack of information system of busway position that works automatically. Therefore, at the end of this project will be realized a GPS app as an information system of busway position using Arduino Uno as controller, it was completed by speakers and LCD as well as the output. The system will automatically inform passengers about the position of busway through loudspeakers and LCD with the next shelter information destination. This tool was designed to simplify and improve the comfort of the driver and passenger satisfaction when using the busway facilities with shelter information.
