Berdasarkan data survey mandiri untuk penyewaan sepeda Bike Sharing di Kota Bandung pada bulan Mei 2016, Bike Sharing memiliki sepuluh buah shelter, 150 buah sepeda, dan 20 orang petugas. Namun informasi tentang letak lokasi shelter dan informasi lainnya tidak mudah didapat. Atas dasar permasalahan tersebut, maka akan dibangun aplikasi pelayanan dan pencarian lokasi shelter penyewaan sepeda berbasis android yang diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi bagi pengguna dalam penyewaan sepeda Bike Sharing di kota Bandung dengan menggunakan smartphone bersistem operasi Android. Dalam menentukan lokasi menggunakan Location Based Service dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet dan Google Maps serta GPS (Global Positioning System) yang bertujuan agar aplikasi dapat memberikan informasi letak lokasi pengguna dan lokasi shelter penyewaan sepeda serta dapat melakukan penyewaan sepeda secara mobile.

Based on independent survey data for Bike Sharing cycling in Bandung City in May 2016, Bike Sharing has ten shelters, 150 bicycles, and 20 officers. However, information about location of shelter location and other information is not easy to get. On the basis of these problems, It will be built service applications and search location based on android bicycle rental shelter that is expected to provide information for users in Bike Sharing bike rental in the city of Bandung using smartphone operating system Android. In the specify the location using the Location Based Service by leveraging the technology of the internet and Google Maps and GPS (Global Positioning System) that aims so that applications can provide information of the user's location and layout of the site as well as bike rental shelters can do mobile bicycle rental.
