Teknologi LBS (Location Based Service) merupakan teknologi masa kini yang banyak berperan aktif dalam kehidupan manusia. Dengan adanya teknologi ini kemudahan akses pencarian lokasi tujuan menjadi lebih cepat dan akurat. Pemanfaatan fitur Point Of Interest (POI) semakin mempermudah untuk penentuan titik lokasinya. Melihat pada tren visual teknologi saat ini, Augmented Reality (AR) menjadi semakin menarik untuk dipadukan. Dari teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dan Location Based Service (LBS) ini memungkinkan untuk membantu para pengunjung (User) dalam mencari ruangan di kampus Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) secara menarik dari segi visual dan akurat dari pencarian ruangan. Aplikasi ini tertanam pada platform android. Dalam aplikasi ini terdapat beberapa fitur seperti Kategori Gedung, List Ruangan berikut Panduan dan Informasi. Untuk Kategori Gedung menampilkan beberapa pilihan lantai yang dimulai dengan proses scanning kemudian akan tampil dalam objek 3D berikut nama-nama ruangan yang ada di lantai tersebut. Dalam fitur ini, pengunjung (user) dapat memilih sekaligus melihat seluruh ruangan di lantai tersebut. Selain itu, pengunjung (user) dapat melihat langsung ruangan pada fitur list ruangan. Kemudian untuk informasi di dalamnya terdapat beberapa menu seperti panduan penggunaan aplikasi fungsi utama, informasi fakultas berikut profil pengembang aplikasi ini. Dengan aplikasi yang memadukan 2 teknologi ini berharap pengunjung (user) mampu mencari ruangan di kampus Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) secara menarik, akurat dan aktivitas kunjungan menjadi lebih efisien dan tersampaikan dengan baik.

LBS (Location Based Service) technology is a contemporary technology that plays an active role in human life. With the existence of this technology the ease of access to the location search becomes faster and more accurate. Utilization of Point Of Interest feature (POI) makes it easier to determine the location point. Looking at the current visual trends of technology, Augmented Reality (AR) is becomes more attractive to be integrated. From Augmented Reality (AR) and Location Based Service (LBS) technology, it is possible to help visitors in searching the campus of Indonesian Computer University (UNIKOM) in a visual and accurate way of searching the room. This app is embedded in the android platform. In this application there are some features like building category, list of room following guide and information. For the building category, we can see several floor options. The first step is begin with the scanning process. Then it will be appeared in 3d objects followed with their names of the rooms in every floor. In addition, visitors (users) can see the room directly in the list room feature. Next, in information part, there are some menus such as the ways how to use the application of the main function. The faculty completed with the profile of this application developer. Hopefully, this application combined with these two technologies is able to make visitors to find a room in UNIKOM. Moreover, by using this application, your visit activity to UNIKOMcan be more interesting, more efficient and will informed.
