This project entitled "Developing a Book on Plered Pottery" discusses the history about potteries in Plered, the mythology and folktales developed in the area, the process of making potteries and how it is marketed. The book about Plered pottery written in English was very limited, so this book was made in order to give information about Plered pottery to the readers, whether for local visitors or foreign visitors. The data included in the book were done by doing library study, observing, interviewing some key persons, taking notes and taking picture of the potteries. The book is supported by several theories; they were theories about definition of books, definition of informational books, definition of handicrafts, definition of potteries, writing techniques, writing styles, and how to write a history. The result of the project is the informational book containing of selected information: the history of Plered pottery, the culture of Plered, the kinds of potteries, process of making potteries, and the marketing of Plered pottery.
