This report elaborates the process in making a comic book which is accompanied by storyboard. The reasons of making this project is to entertain the readers, to inform and enrich Indonesia culture through Central Java folklore to International students in Indonesia as well as Indonesia students, and to gain other benefits such as practicing their English and building children characteristic by moral values. Therefore, the project is designed by new interesting character and Central Java culture to make the information and the message of the story is delivered well. The project is entitled "Developing a Comic Book: The Magic Seeds Accompanied with the Storyboard"�. This final project focuses on developing a comic book which is adapted from "Timun Mas"� folklore. In making this project, there are some theories used include definitions, characters, elements and techniques. There are some difficulties in making this final project. The main difficulties are the consistency in making a story of the comic book and the limitation time of designing the comic book. However, making the storyboard as a guidelines helped to solve this problem. Moreover using Photoshop and comic life application also solved the second problem. Since the final project has been completed, the main lesson I have learned is the importance of a storyboard in developing a comic book and managing the time in developing a comic book.
