The project entitled “Developing a Travel Guide Book as a Promotional Media of Waterfalls in Kabupaten Bandung Barat”. The aim of this project is to promote waterfalls in Kabupaten Bandung Barat to the society especially to the international tourists and to facilitate everyone who wants to go to the waterfalls in term of giving information. The project is performed to overcome the problems, such as; lack of information of waterfalls in Kabupaten Bandung Barat, and inexistence of guide book as a promotional media about waterfalls in Kabupaten Bandung Barat. There are four methods that were conducted in making the guide book: identifying topic, identifying the details of the product, collecting data, and writing the travel guide book. The specific theories used in making the guide book are writing style theory, such as; descriptive text, persuasive text, explanation text, and instructional text. The result of this project is a 43 pages travel guide book that contains information about 5 waterfalls in Kabupaten Bandung Barat, there are; Curug Cimahi, Curug Bugbrug, Curug Tilu, Curug Panganten, and Curug Malela. Each chapter explains information of the waterfall, such as; the overview, the attractions, the locations, the directions, the facilities, the expenses, operational hours, and tips. With the existence of this product, people will not get confused when they want to go to waterfalls in Kabupaten Bandung Barat, and the government now has the detail data about the waterfalls.
