This project report is entitled “Developing a Travel Guidebook: Handicrafts and Some Traditional FoodsfromTasikmalaya” This final project is written because the number of the travel guidebook of Tasikmalayais limited. Even more, the number of a travel guidebook which is written in bilingual is very rare. This final project report contains all the explanation of the process in making the travel guidebook. The objectives in developing the travel guidebook of Tasikmalaya are to inform and promote Tasikmalaya’s handicrafts and traditional cuisinesto the local and foreign tourists. The data that are used in this project were taken by doing a literature study and direct observation to Tasikmalaya’s handicrafts and traditional cuisines. The theories that are used in this project are the theory of tourism, guidebook, bilingual books, language style and writing style. The guidebook consists of seven chapters. Six chapters are for the handicrafts and the last one chapter is the information of some traditional traditional foods fromTasikmalaya. Moreover, the book also provides the glossary of some words that are related to handicrafts and foods at the last page. The book that has been made is already fulfilled the gap since the information that is provided in it is quite much and the quality of the photographs is also good. Lastly, it will be good if further final project are adding map in the book, adding more photographs and also more information about Tasikmalaya.
