The project entitled "Developing an Informational Book: The Wondrous Sundanese Musical Instrument of Karinding" conveys the detail information about karinding such as karinding as Sundanese bamboo musical instrument, the playing of karinding, the making of karinding, the musical performances of karinding, and the important people who contribute to the spreading the information about karinding in Bandung. The purposes of this project are in order to provide people with an information about karinding in detail, facilitate the foreigners with an English-language-book about karinding, provide information about Sundanese culture to the local and international tourists to learn and practice karinding, preserve Indonesian cultural heritage and save it from illegal claim by other countries. There are some methods applied in collecting the data such as library study, observation, interview, and taking pictures. Then, various techniques of writing are used in this project such as informative, narrative, expository, descriptive, and procedure writing. The result of this project is an informational book about karinding entitled "The Wondrous Sundanese Musical Instrument of Karinding". It is recommended to make a documentary video about karinding for a better result to those who want to develop a similar project in the future.
