The project is about Sundanese traditional design applied in Sundanese traditional houses both for living and public buildings in West Java. Conducting this project might reintroduce this kind of design and persuade the readers to apply it in designing their houses. There are several theories employed in completing this book. There are definition of house in general, architecture in general, interior design in general, essay writing, descriptive and persuasive writing techniques, simple present tense and simple past tense, and instruction language style. The elements of Sundanese traditional houses described here are architecture elements, parts of Sundanese traditional houses both inside and outside, furniture from natural materials commonly used in Sundanese traditional houses, and cultural value contained in Sundanese traditional designs. The data have been gathered by several steps; doing library study, conducting observation, and conducting interview. This book might be new reference for readers to design their houses and it can be one resource to learn about Sundanese traditional houses.
