This research is aimed at analyzing “How far the effectiveness of coffee morning activity at PT. Kereta Api (Persero) Daerah Operasi 2 Bandung towards the work attitude of the leaders at the company“. To answer the above question, the researcher analyzed the level of communicator’s credibility, message content, attention, understanding and acceptance of the leaders.
The approach of the research is quantitative. Method used is survey and the analysis technique is correlation and using total sampling for describes the sampling. The research data is collected using the questionnaire, interview and library research. The data analysis technique used to see the relationship between variables Rank Spearman Correlation using SPSS 12 program.
The result of the research indicates that there is correlation between communicator’s credibility as much as 1,000 which means that the correlation is very high. The correlation between the message content towards the leader’s work attitude is as much as 0,975 which means that the correlation is very high. The correlation between coffee morning activities towards the leader’s attention is as much as 1,000 which means that the correlation is very high. The correlation between coffee morning activities towards the leader’s understanding is as much as 0,872 which means that the correlation is very high. The correlation between coffee morning activities towards the leader’s acceptance is as much as 0,975 which means that the correlation is very high. The correlation between coffee morning activities towards the leader’s work attitude is as much as 1,000 which means that the correlation is very high. The result of the data analysis and hypothesis test shows that H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. The result of the research shows that there is influence of the coffee morning towards the leader’s work attitude at the company.
The conclusion of the research shows that the coffee morning at PT. Kereta Api (Persero) Daerah Operasi 2 Bandung have influence to the work attitude of the leaders at the company.
The suggestion given in the research to the leaders at PT. Kereta Api (Persero) Daop 2 Bandung is that they should participate more in joining the activity of coffee morning because the activity is useful. Furthermore the activity is also used to discuss and evaluate the work.
