This research has been done because of rapid growth of information technology also its wide implementation and base on existence of information system usage to fastening city room utilization license IPPT for land utilization. Therefore, this research focused to know how affectivity of GIS implementation in fastening city room utilization license IPPT process.
The method research used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. Then, data gathering technique in this research is literature study, field study and observation also by interview, the informant of this research is Bandung City Management Institution by doing snowball technique and community by doing accidental technique.
GIS utilization affectivity conducted city room utilization license IPPT process in Bandung city management institution in order to fastening city room utilization license IPPT service problem. In using SIG much been affected by substances than affectivity, that is GIS usage strategy, goal reach, policy formulation, and compiling excellent program also educated controlling system in processing room utilization license IPPT at Bandung city. GIS usage or in other word is Geographical Information System Use, directed to RTRW (room area management plans) handbook of government policy (Perda) No.3 in the year 2006, this RTRW about Regional Planology Plan consist of city room utilization pattern and structure plan. By formulating main policy of city room utilization development.
The use of GIS in city room utilization license IPPT process will be run optimally, if supported by sufficient human resource, software guarantee appropriate with technology development in the mean of its need to adapt in supply and maintenance guarantee
