Penelitian "Identifikasi Wisata Cosplay di Kota Bandung Berdasarkan Komponen Pariwisata 4A" berdasarkan pada fenomena capaian jumlah wisatawan mancanegara di Provinsi Jawa Barat masih dibawah target. Di sisi lain, cosplay yang didominasi oleh budaya Jepang tumbuh di Kota Bandung, padahal cosplay bersifat global. Apabila wisata cosplay di Kota Bandung meningkat, ada kemungkinan wisatawan mancanegara tertarik dan terlibat dalam wisata cosplay. Jadi, dibuatlah penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi wisata cosplay di Kota Bandung berdasarkan komponen pariwisata 4A; Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, dan Ancillary. Teori yang digunakan adalah pendapat Cooper dan Wanhil (1997) karena wisata hanya bisa tumbuh dan berkembang bila komponen 4A (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, dan Ancillary) terpenuhi. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview). Model Miles dan Huberman yaitu analisis interaktif digunakan untuk menganalisis data dengan melakukan reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kota Bandung teridentifikasi memiliki wisata cosplay. Kota Bandung memenuhi keseluruhan komponen pariwisata 4A. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan saran untuk pengembangan wisata cosplay di Kota Bandung, yaitu: (1) perlu publikasi lebih luas tentang cosplay, penyelenggaraan event pop kultur Jepang dan kompetisi cosplay, destinasi wisata, dan lokasi akomodasi low budget di Kota Bandung; (2) penyelenggara event harus lebih sering mengadakan event di tempat umum terbuka, menyelenggarakan event pop kultur Jepang selama dua hari atau lebih untuk meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan ke Kota Bandung, dan menyediakan pembelian tiket melalui aplikasi tiket online; (3) Stakeholders harus mengatur arus lalu lintas di sekitar venue event, mempersiapkan diri untuk mengelola wisata cosplay di masa mendatang, dan membina para cosplayer jalanan; (4) penelitian selanjutnya merancang paket wisata cosplay di Kota Bandung. The research "Identification of Cosplay Tourism in Bandung Based on 4A Tourism Components" based on the phenomenon that the achievement of the number of foreign tourists in West Java is still below the target. On the other hand, cosplay which is dominated by Japanese culture grows in Bandung, even though cosplay is globally hobby. If cosplay tourism in Bandung increases, there is a possibility that foreign tourists are interested and involved in cosplay tourism. So, the purpose of this research was to identify cosplay tourism in Bandung based on 4A tourism components; Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, and Ancillary . The theory used is the opinion of Cooper and Wanhil (1997) because tourism can only grow and develop if the 4A components (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, and Ancillary) are fulfilled. This research was conducted qualitatively with data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. Miles and Huberman's model, namely interactive analysis, is used to analyze data by doing data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results of the research indicate that Bandung has cosplay tourism. Bandung fulfills the overall 4A tourism components. The research resulted in suggestions for the development of cosplay tourism in Bandung, there are: (1) it needs more extensive publications about cosplay, organizing Japanese pop culture events and cosplay competitions, tourist destinatios, and low budget accommodation locations in Bandung;(2) Event Organizers must hold events in open public places, hold Japanese pop culture events for two days or more to increase the number of tourists to Bandung, and provide ticket purchases through an online ticket application; (3) Stakeholders must regulate the flow of traffic around the event venue, prepare themselves to manage cosplay tourism in the future, and need to be guidance regarding street cosplayers;(4) further research designed cosplay tourism packages in Bandung.
