This paper aims to examine mobile health application adoption by integrating Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Protection Motivation Theory. Design/methodology/approach - This study used a sample of 343 Mobile Health Application users in Indonesia. Partial least square is applied to assess the relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived severity, perceived vulnerability, self-efficacy, attitude, and behavioral intention. Findings - This study's results reveal that the integration of the TAM and PMT models provides a complete explanation of the adoption of Mobile Health Application by users. In perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and self-efficacy tends to have an impact on application acceptance. Meanwhile, perceived severity and perceived vulnerability have a small effect. Practical implications - This study offers an opportunity for developers to be able to increase the number of users by first raising awareness of health. However, the usability, convenience, and capabilities of the application should not be ignored. Developers can also highlight the advantages that the application has. With this combination, the developer can maximize the number of users. Keywords: Mobile Health Application, TAM Model, Protection Motivation Theory.
