Pada saat ini budidaya tanaman yang dilakukan yaitu pada kondisi lingkungan atau iklim yang sesuai dengan tanaman. Jika tanaman yang ditanam tidak sesuai dengan lingkungan atau iklim, maka tanaman tersebut tidak akan tumbuh dan berkembang bahkan tumbuhan tersebut akan mati. Maka yang berperan penting yaitu lingkungan atau iklim karena mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada tanaman, contohnya : suhu, kelembaban udara, tanah, maupun intensitas cahaya yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dari sebuah tanaman. Dibutuhkan pengaturan pada factor–factor tersebut, agar tanaman dapat bertumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik. Pada proyek akhir ini penulis akan merancang dan merealisasikan Miniatur Rumah Kaca Berbasis Mikrokontroler ATmega16. Sistem ini terdiri dari perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras. Perangkat lunak pada sistem ini menggunakan BASCOM AVR sebagai software pemrograman mikrokontroler. Sedangkan, perangkat keras yaitu mikrokontroler sebagai pusat pengontrol sistem, sensor-sensor yang terdiri dari: sensor kelembaban (Humidity Sensor), temperatur, dan intensitas cahaya, pengkondisi sinyal sebagai rangkaian antarmuka (Interface) antara sensor, driver aktuator, serta beberapa aktuator berupa lampu untuk penerangan buatan, pompa air untuk penyiraman, kipas sebagai cooling system dan ventilasi udara. Sistem ini akan mengontrol Greenhouse secara otomatis agar tumbuhan dapat tumbuh optimum dengan mengatur kelembaban udara, suhu, penyiraman air, serta intensitas cahayanya. At the moment the plant cultivation is done on the environmental or climatic conditions corresponding to the plant. If plants are not planted in accordance with the environment or climate, the plants will not grow and even the plant will die. So the environment or climate take the important role as it affects the growth and development in plants, for example: temperature, humidity, soil, and the intensity of light can affect the growth of a plant. Required settings of the factor-factor, so that plants can grow and develop properly. At this final project will design and realize the Greenhouse Miniature Based On Microcontroller ATmega 16. The system consists of software and hardware. The software on this system using BASCOM AVR microcontroller programming as software. Meanwhile, the microcontroller hardware as the central control system, sensors comprising: a humidity sensor (Humidity Sensor), temperature and light intensity, the signal conditioner circuit interface (Interface) between the sensor, actuator drivers, as well as some of the actuators in the form of light for artificial lighting, water pumps for irrigation, as the cooling fan and ventilation system. This system will automatically control the greenhouse so plants can grow with the optimum set of humidity, temperature, sprinkling water, and light intensity.
