Signalling represent a opening process, terminating and conservancy a
communications. At IP telephony, there is two standard weared in conducting
signalling. Protocol of H.323 represent protocol of signalling released by
International Telecomunication Union ( ITU) and of Session Initiation Protocol
( SIP) released by Internet Engineering Task Force ( IETF).
Need the existence of a mechanism so that earn happened interoperability
between both the protocol and that mechanism is conducted by a component that
is signalling gateway. Signalling Gateway referred as by S.323-GW, abbreviation
of functioning SIP-H.323 Gateway as translasi order Signalling coming from
network of H.323 to network of SIP conversely.
