PT DAHANA (Persero) adalah Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur dengan status BUMN industri strategis yang memproduksi barang dan jasa khusus peledakan untuk keperluan industri pertambangan umum, minyak dan gas, kuari, kontruksi, serta kepentingan militer. Penelitian Studi Kasus yang berjudul “Evaluasi Kinerja Inventarisasi Aset PT DAHANA (Persero)â€� (Apriyansyah, 2019) mengevaluasi proses inventarisasi aset yang dilakukan di PT DAHANA (Persero). Penelitian tersebut menggunakan teori Effective Inventory Management (Harrington, 1990) yang memiliki tiga dimensi dan mengukur 7 indikator. Hasil pengukuran 7 indiktor tersebut, terdapat permasalahan pada 4 indikator yang mengindikasikan teknologi dan sistem informasi inventarisasi aset saat ini belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Permasalahan proses inventarisasi meliputi banyaknya kerusakan label pada aset, aset belum memiliki teknologi pelacakan untuk pengamanan, belum diterapkanya prosedur mutasi aset, serta belum terdapat sistem informasi yang mudah digunakan pengguna untuk dijadikan database aset. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan suatu teknologi yang dapat memberikan informasi dan pengamanan aset serta pengembangan sistem informasi untuk dijadikan database aset yang dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna untuk mengoperasikannya. Pemanfaatan teknologi Radio Frequency Identification atau RFID menjadi solusi untuk memecahkan masalah yang terdapat pada proses inventarisasi. RFID adalah teknologi otomatisasi identifikasi dengan komponen tag RFID, pembaca RFID, dan Sistem Informasi yang menggunakan frekuensi radio sebagai penghantar informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi RFID dengan spesifikasi yang sesuai dengan jenis aset dan lokasi aset agar penggunaan RFID efektif, serta menghubungkan dengan sistem aplikasi yang dapat mendukung penggunaan teknologi RFID. Teknologi RFID dapat dimanfaatkan untuk inventarisasi aset tetap PT DAHANA (Persero). Tag dapat berupa Tag aktif maupun pasif. Pembacaan data aset dengan pembaca RFID menjadi lebih efektif dan cepat, middleware RFID dapat digunakan sebagai penghubung teknologi RFID denan Aplikasi perusahaan yang akan dijadikan sebagai database aset tetap PT DAHANA (Persero). PT DAHANA (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in manufacturing with the status of strategic industrial SOEs that produce special goods and services for the needs of the mining, oil and gas industries, quarries, construction, and military needs. Case Study Research entitled "Performance Evaluation of Asset Inventory of PT DAHANA (Persero)" (Apriyansyah, 2019) evaluating the process of asset inventory conducted at PT DAHANA (Persero). This study uses the theory of Effective Inventory Management (Harrington, 1990) which has three dimensions and measures 7 indicators. The results of the measurement of these 7 indicators are questionable in 4 indicators that test the technology and information systems of asset inventories that have not been able to meet user needs. The problem of the inventory process of label damage on assets, assets does not yet have technology that supports security, asset transfer procedures have not been implemented, and it has not yet used an easy-to-use information system for users to use database assets. Based on these problems, we need a technology that can provide information and security of assets and the development of information systems to become asset databases that can make it easy for users to run it. Radio Frequency or RFID Identification Becomes a solution to overcome problems that are needed in the inventory process. RFID is an automation technology that supports RFID tag components, RFID readers, and Information Systems that use radio frequency as an information transmitter. This study uses to utilize RFID technology with specifications that are in accordance with the type of assets and location of assets so that the use of RFID is effective, as well as connecting with application systems that can support the use of RFID technology. RFID technology can be used on fixed assets of PT DAHANA (Persero). Tags can be either active or passive tags. Asset data readers with RFID readers are more effective and faster, RFID middleware can be used as a link to RFID technology with enterprise applications that will be used as a fixed asset database of PT DAHANA (Persero).
