Communication process involves two or more people in interaction. Communicator delivers massage to communicant through media. During communication process, the one who communicate will be changing in position. This matter can cause feed back which is accepted by communicator from communicant. But, it will be communication interference if there is an intervention which interference one of communication element, so communication process wouldn’t go on effectively, still expensive and the way to utilize communication link has not been optimum.
The research objective is to know government communication through data interconnection among regional forces work unit (SKPD) at Subang district in the year 2006. the method used in this research method. The data gathering technique has been done with literature study and field study (non participant observation and interview). Was determined by purposive technique (base and goal). And in the informant includes Regional Planning Institution officer, that is staff or Operator of Data and Report division, Health Department officer, that is staff or Operator of Health planning and Information Sub-division, Education Department officer, that is Data Operator of Employee Sub-division, BPS officer, that is Data Entry Operator, and officer of Demography and KB Department that is Chief of Program Management Sub-division and Chief of Data Information and Analysis sector.
Government communication through data interconnection among SKPD in Subang district is related to communication process which involves communicator, message, media, communicant, and feed back that is accepted by communicator from communicant. However, there is communication interference, sharing links because there are illegal radios in SKPD of Subang district. This matter caused lateness in interconnecting data.
SKPD officer in Subang district must more realize how important of government communication through data interconnection could influence government daily activity. Beside, it must be supported by communication equipment such as computers and other hardwares, that related with data interconnection, also competence human resource should be improved either in program making or the program application.
