Dengan menggunakan metode NDT (Non Destructive Test ) sebagai salah satu alasan agar benda tersebut terjaga kuantitas maupun kualitasnya. PT (Penetrant Testing) merupakan bentuk inspeksi pada permukaan benda yang dapat melihat cacat (flaw), retak (crack). stasioner penetrant water washable merupakan suatu alat yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi cacat pada suatu komponen atau material yang dimana dalam peralatan itu berisikan: tempat pembersihan awal (Precleaning Station), tangki berisi cairan ( Penetrant station), tempat pengeringan (Drain station), tangki pembilasan (Rinse station), tangki developer ( Developer station), tempat pengeringan akhir ( Dryer station), tempat inspeksi (Inspection station). Untuk menunjang dalam pekerjaan manufaktur tersebut tentunya diperlukan alat yang sesuai serta sesuai standar dengan ketentuannya, dalam hal ini tentunya standar ASTM (American Society for Testing and Material) dengan sebagai acuan untuk membuat alat tersebut agar terstandarisasi dengan baik. Dengan referensi perusahaan PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT JABIL Circuit, UTC AEROSPACE untuk meralisasikan alat stasioner pentrant fluorescent water washable.
