SInDikKer is an transaction interface university, Directorate General of Learning and Student affairs, State institution, business sector and industry or distinguished as DUDI (Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri) and public in general. Complete Information about Indonesian university include status, number of study programs, student body and graduates. So that accessable by public. Accessing of SInDikKer takes long time, makes the user disappointed. The solution for this problem is to improve accessing time by optimizing the database query. To optimize the database query used some solutions such as normalization to normal form to 3 NF, and then implement the index and view on the database. The use of index and view will accelerate the execution time that make the user not to wait for a long time. Execution plan was also applied to be able to know how the query was run. The result of the experiments showed that the query optimization execution time by applying the third normalization (3NF) was faster than the previous execution time query.
