The advancement of control technology based on microcontroller able to
exploited in designing a system which is capable to activate solar cell panel
automatically to trace the highest intensity of solar energy, so the solar cell can
always yield optimum voltage.
This research is designing a system which is aplicable to trace the highest
intensity of solar energy as resources of electrical energy, with panel can move
automatically to trace from east to west the highest intensity of solar energy or on
contrary (dynamic), based on input from solar cell
In this system design there are several things must be considered, among
other selection or use of components that build the system, such as member of
solar cell as a sensor module, a system contoroller and a motor. The system
designed use the motor dc as activator of solar cell panel and solar cell
fuctionally as sensor.
The result from designing and testing at this research is proven good
enough as expected, solar cell panel succeed to trace the highest intensity of solar
energy which is equivalent with 1,06V dc (max. on solar cell)
