The purpose of this research is to know how understanding of Galamedia’s Daily News Journalist to Indonesian Journalist Ethics Code. To knows how the understanding, research try to Analyze a journalist knowledge and understanding at content of ethics code, Analyze a journalist knowledge and understanding at sanction of ethics code and factors that influence to apply the Indonesian Journalist Ethics Code.
It kind of Qualitative research with using descriptive method, Data which in getting most is to pass spreading of Deep interview, supported by literature study. Primary object at this research is Galamedia’s Daily News Journalist amount to 32 and taken as sample counted 8 informan. For the technique of sampling the used is Purposive Sampling, while analysis techniques use descriptive analysis technique.
From result of research show that Galamedia’s Daily News Journalist know and understanding to content of Indonesian Journalist Ethics Code. Galamedia’s Daily News Journalist know and understanding to sanction of Indonesian Journalist Ethics Code. Intern Factors that influence a journalist to apply the Indonesian Journalist Ethics Code are moral journalist, value and sanction, while External Factors that influence a journalist to apply the Indonesian Journalist Ethics Code are Reader or Public. Suggestion, for Galamedia Daily news to more expain again trainings for journalist more understanding about Ethics Code and to expain the technique forwarding news, to writing news in order to news more attractive.
