Data International Coffee Organization (ICO) menunjukan bahwa konsumsi kopi Indonesia pada periode 2000-2016 mengalami tren kenaikan. Pada tahun 2000, konsumsi kopi Indonesa baru mencapai 1,68 juta bungkus @60kg, namun pada 2016 telah mencapai 4,6 juta bungkus @60kg, atau melonjak lebih dari 174 persen. Bahkan sejak 2011, konsumsi kopi selalu mengalami pertumbuhan hingga 2016. Kopi terkenal akan kandungan kafeinanya yang tinggi. Menurut The Food and Drug Administration, 400mg merupakan jumlah kafein yang aman dikonsumsi orang dewasa dalam satu hari. Sebagian orang sensitif terhadap efek kafein. Kafein dapat menyebabkan sakit kepala, sakit perut dan dapat menyebabkan orang susah tidur, merasa gelisah atau membuat detak jantung menjadi cepat, saat asupannya tinggi. Berdasarkan observasi disuatu kafe bahwa kebanyakan konsumen yang membeli kopi adalah para remaja yang meluangkan waktunya di kafe untuk berbincang dengan teman-temannya. Adapun beberapa konsumen pekerja kantor yang hanya membeli kopi di kafe tersebut untuk dibawa ke tempat kerjanya. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner pada beberapa responden yang merupakan pekerja kantor bahwa mereka terkadang tidak sempat membeli kopi pada pagi hari saat berangkat kerja karena sering terjebak macet dijalan atau harus menunggu ketika memesan kopi ditambah mengantri yang membutuhkan waktu cukup lama jika ada pelanggan lain yang sedang memesan sehingga takut terlambat masuk kerja dan responden terkadang tidak mendapatkan tempat atau meja di kafe ketika pulang bekerja untuk berbincang dengan rekan kerjanya. Terlebih lagi mereka tidak mengetahui jumlah kandungan kafein yang terdapat pada kopi yang sering mereka konsumsi setiap hari. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah suatu aplikasi untuk memudahkan konsumen untuk memesan kopi di kafe menggunakan midtrans api sebagai payment gateway dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai jumlah kafein yang telah dikonsumsi sehari-hari.

Based on observations in a cafe that most consumers who buy coffee are teenagers who spend time in cafes to chat with friends. As for some consumer office workers who only buy coffee in the cafe to be taken to the workplace. Based on the results of questionnaires on some respondents who are office workers that they sometimes do not have time to buy coffee in the morning when leaving for work because often stuck in the street or have to wait when ordering coffee plus queue that takes a long time if there are other customers who are ordering so afraid are late in work and respondents sometimes do not get a place or table in the cafe when they come home to work to talk to their coworkers. Moreover they do not know the amount of caffeine content found in coffee that they often consume every day. Therefore an application is made to make it easier for consumers to order coffee in the cafe using midtrans api as payment gateway and get information about the amount of caffeine that has been consumed daily.
