Orangutan merupakan satu dari empat spesies kera besar yang hidup di Asia, sementara tiga kerabatnya yang lain yaitu gorila, simpanse dan bonoho hidup di benua Afrika. Kondisi populasi orangutan di habitatnya saat ini mengalami penurunan drastis. Kurangnya sosialisasi terhadap masyarakat mengenai kondisi populasi habitat orangutan saat ini. Oleh sebab itu,masyarakat seharusnya diberikan sosialisasi tentang kondisi populasi habitat orangutan, sehingga masyarakat pun akan sadar tentang masalah yang terjadi pada kondisi populasi habitat orangutan saat ini. Sosialisasi bisa disampaikan dengan berbagai media seperti media cetak maupun elektronik salah satunya disampaikan dengan media game. Perkembangan game pada masa kini sudah sangat pesat karena mayoritas pengguna komputer menghabiskan sebagian besar waktu mereka di depan komputer. Karakteristik game yang menyenangkan dapat membuat seseorang menjadi kecanduan terhadap game yang mereka mainkan. Beberapa permainan dapat berdampak buruk terhadap psikologi masyarakat. Namun, game sangat berguna jika dimanfaatkan secara positif, salah satunya adalah game yang memberikan sosialisasi kondisi populasi habitat orangutan. Game Selamatkan Orangutan yang akan dibangun ini merupakan jenis game 3D yang bergenre Third Person Shooter agar terlihat lebih realistis dalam memainkannya. Game ini dibangun dengan menggunakan OOP (Object Oriented Programming), serta Algoritma A* (A Star) dan Fuzzy Logic yang diterapkan pada setiap musuh dalam game ini.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Game Third Person Shooter 3D Selamatkan Orangutan dinyatakan bisa memberikan unsur sosialisasi tentang kondisi orangutan pada saat ini, pemanfaatan game secara positif sudah baik dan dapat berguna bagi masyarakat untuk mendukung kelestarian habitat hewan khas Indonesia yaitu orangutan, kemampuan dalam memilih keputusan pergerakan yang dimiliki oleh musuh berjalan dengan baik dan karena musuh memiliki kemampuan memilih keputusan pergerakan dapat membuat game lebih menantang untuk dimainkan.

Orangutans are one of four species of great apes that live in Asia, while three other relatives, namely gorillas, chimpanzees and bonoho live on the African continent. Conditions in the habitat of the orangutan population is currently experiencing a drastic decline. Lack of socialization to the community about the state of the current population of orangutan habitat. Therefore, the public should be given the socialization of the population of orangutan habitat conditions, so that the public would be aware of the problems that occur in a population of orangutan habitat conditions at this time. Socialization can be delivered with a variety of media such as printed media or electronic media delivered with one game. The development of the game at the present time is very fast because the majority of computer users spend most of their time in front of the computer.Characteristics of fun games that can make a person become addicted to the games they play. Some games can have a negative impact on the psychology of society. However, the game is very useful if it is utilized positively, one of which is a game that provides socialization population of orangutan habitat conditions. Game Selamatkan Orangutan that is about to be built is a type of 3D game with Third Person Shooter genre to make it look more realistic in playing. The game is built using OOP ( Object Oriented Programming ), and Algorithm A* ( A Star ) and fuzzy logic that are applied to every enemy in this game.Based on the results of tests performed it can be concluded that the 3D Third Person Shooter Game Selamatkan Orangutan otherwise could provide elements of socialization on condition of orangutans at the moment, the use of the game in a positive way is good and can be useful for the community to support the preservation of Indonesia typical animal habitats, orangutans, the ability to choose a decision that is owned by the enemy movement runs well and since the enemy has the ability to choose the movement 's decision to make the game more challenging to play.
