Penelitian ini berjudul ÃâPembangunan Jaringan VPN di Badan Pendapatan Daerah (BAPENDA) Provinsi Jawa BaratÃâ. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaksimalkan akses aplikasi Sistem Informasi Kearsipan (SIMKA) dan meminimalisir eksploitasi terhadap server SIMKA. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode PPDIOO, dengan melakukan analisis terhadap masalah jaringan yang terjadi ditemukan masalah berupa, sulitnya mengakses aplikasi dikarenakan bandwith internet digunakan kepentingan diluar pekerjaan dan Masih mudahnya aplikasi Sistem Informasi Kearsipan (SIMKA) BAPENDA JABAR diakses secara umum yang bisa mengakibatkan eksploitasi terhadap aplikasi dan jaringan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang terjadi dibuatlah jaringan VPN unutuk aplikasi Sistem Informasi Kearsipan (SIMKA) dengan menggunkan protocol PPTP. Beberapa tahapan dalam membangun jaringan VPN diantaranya Konfigurasi Profile, Konfigurasi PPTP Server, Konfigurasi Akun, Konfigurasi Filter Rules TCP PPTP In, Konfigurasi Filter Rules GRE PPTP Out, Konfigurasi Filter Rules GRE PPTP In, Konfigurasi Filter Rules GRE PPTP Out dan Konfigurasi Filter Rules GRE PPTP Forward. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, dengan dibuatnya jaringan VPN untuk aplikasi Sistem Informasi Kearsipan (SIMKA) dengan menggunkan protocol PPTP, dapat memaksimalkan akses aplikasi Sistem Informasi Kearsipan (SIMKA) dan meminimalisir eksploitasi terhadap server SIMKA.

This research is titled ÃâBuilding VPN Network in Badan Pendapatan Daerah (BAPENDA) West Java ProvinceÃâ. The objective of this research was to optimalize the access of Archival Information System Application (SIMKA) and minimalize the exploitation of SIMKA server. The system development method used in this reseacrh is the PPDIOO method, by analyzing the network problems that occur in the form of difficulties in accessing applications. The problems occur because of the internet bandwidth is used outside of work and the easiness to generally access the Archival Information System Application (SIMKA) BAPENDA JABAR that resulting the exploitation of applications and networks. Based on the problems that occur, VPN networks are created for Archival Information System applications (SIMKA) using the PPTP protocol. Several stages in building a VPN network include Configuration Profile, PPTP Server Configuration, Account Configuration, TCP PPTP In Filter Rules Configuration, GRE PPTP Out Rules Filter Configuration, GRE PPTP In Rules Filter Configuration, GRE PPTP Out Rules Filter Configuration and GRE PPTP Filter Rules Configuration Forward. The results show that, with the creation of a VPN network for Archival Information System applications (SIMKA) using the PPTP protocol, can maximize access to Archival Information System applications (SIMKA) and minimize exploitation of SIMKA servers.
