My Dollar Poultry Shop adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang distribusi ayam potong. Perusahaan yang berada di kota Subang ini merupakan salah satu perusahaan besar di bidang distribusi ayam. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan ayam yang di jual oleh bagian pemasaran, my dollar poultry shop belum memiliki perencanaan pembelian yang dapat memprediksi jumlah ayam yang akan dibeli ke peternakan, sehingga jumlah ayam yang berlebihan dapat menimbulkan tambahan biaya perawatan ayam. Begitu juga sebaliknya, kekurangan jumlah ayam berakibat tidak terpenuhinya pemesanan ayam dari pembeli.Untuk menangani permasalahan diatas maka diperlukan sistem pengendalian persediaan ayam. Sistem pengendalian persediaan ayam yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem disesuaikan dengan permasalahan perusahaan khususnya pada bagian penanggung jawab kandang, untuk proses perencanaan pembelian ayam digunakan sebuah metode persediaan yaitu EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) dengan menggunakan rata-rata dari sejumlah (n) data sebelumnya untuk menentukan jumlah ayam yang akan dipesan selanjutnya. Selain itu terdapat proses-proses lain sebagai faktor pedukung seperti safety stock untuk menghitung batas aman persediaan ayam dan reorder point (ROP) untuk menentukan titik pemesanan kembali. Dari hasil penelitian dilakukan pengujian sistem adapun kesimpulan pengujian dari sistem pengendalian persediaan ayam ini diantaranya memudahkan penanggung jawab kandang dalam mendapatkan informasi mengenai persediaan ayam dengan cepat dan akurat serta metode persediaan EOQ dapat memudahkan penanggung jawab kandang dalam menentukan jumlah ayam yang akan dibeli ke peternakan untuk satu periode kedepan.

So Conversely, then the results in a shortage of chicken can not fulfilled the reservations from buyers.In order to solve the problems above it required the system inventory control for the chicken. the systems development is adjusted to the company's problems, especially on the person who is in charge of the cage, for the planning process for purchassing the chicken is used an inventory method that is called EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) by using the average of (n) number of previous data to determine the number of chickens that will be ordered later.Otherwise there are other processes that use as supporting factors such as safety stock to calculate the safe limits the chicken stock and reorder point (ROP) to determine the reorder point.From the results of research and the system testing, the conclusions that have been obtained from this system inventory control of chicken is to facilitate the person in charge of cages to obtaining the accurate information about chicken supplies with an effective way. And the used of the EOQ inventory method is to facilitate the person in charge to determine the amount of chicken that will be purchased to a farm for the next period.
