Pada pembelajaran biologi yang melibatkan siswa dan guru, materi, sarana dan prasarana serta metode-metode untuk pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran biologi, diketahui peran serta siswa belum menyeluruh, hanya didominasi oleh siswa-siswa tertentu saja. ESQ siswa masih rendah seperti siswa tidak mau bergabung dengan kelompoknya (egois). Siswa kurang percaya diri dalam mempresentasikan hasil diskusi dan beberapa siswa kurang menghargai teman saat presentasi atau mengemukakan pendapatnya. Siswa belum pernah membuat alat-alat sederhana dan belum pernah berhadapan dengan masalah dimasyarakat. Oleh karena itu, aspek-aspek emosional dan spiritual harus dipahami dengan model STM untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan dalam pemecahan masalah dan mendongkrak kualitas pembelajaran biologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah PTK, dilaksanakan tanggal 14-23 April 2016 di kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo. Pengumpulan data melalui : (1) Wawancara, (2) observasi, (3) dokumentasi (4) tes. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar wawancara,observasi dan soal tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar baik kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor mengalami peningkatan. Ketuntasan klasikal keseluruhan mencapai 83,9%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran biologi berwawasan ESQ dengan model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo materi pencemaran lingkungan.

On learning of biology that involves students and teachers, materials, facilities and infrastructure as well as the methods for achieving the learning objectives of biology, known to the role of the student is not yet complete, is dominated by certain students only. ESQ students is still low as the students do not want to join the group (selfish). Students are less confident in presenting the results of discussions and some students are less appreciative friend during a presentation or express their opinions. Students have never made simple tools and have never been faced with problems in the community. Therefore, aspects of emotional and spiritual to be understood by the STM models to increase success in solving the problem and boost the quality of teaching biology. The research is a PTK, held on 14 to 23 April 2016 for class VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo. Data collection through: (1) interview, (2) observation, (3) documentation (4) test. The instruments used are the questionnaires, observations and test questions. The results showed that the learning outcomes of both cognitive, affective and psychomotor increased. Classical completeness totaled 83.9%. It can be concluded that the application of biology teaching model insightful ESQ Science Society Technologies to improve learning outcomes of students of class VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo material environmental pollution.
