Pembuatan aplikasi database kepegawaian ini ditujukan untuk divisi Human Resources Department & General Affair (HRD & GA) di PT Beton Elemen Persada. PT Beton Elemen Persada merupakan perusahaan penghasil produk utama bata ringan, panel lantai, panel dinding, dry mortar, dan lintel. Divisi HRD & Ga bertugas untuk mengelola karyawan dari mulai rekrutmen sampai pensiun serta bertugas melancarkan jalannya kegiatan perusahaan dalam hal pengadaan barang atau jasa. Salah satu hal yang ditangani divisi HRD & GA adalah database kepegawaian. Penanganan database kepegawaian oleh divisi HRD & GA menggunakan perangkat lunak berbasis Microsoft Excel. Setelah dilakukan observasi, ditemukan beberapa masalah yaitu penyajian data karyawan secara manual melalui proses edit terlebih dahulu sehingga kurang efisien, terdapat pula kesalahan dalam penginputan data pada database yang disebabkan kurangnya ketelitian, proses memindai tanggal kontrak karyawan secara manual cukup menyita waktu dan tenaga. Solusi agar penanganan database kepegawaian lebih efektif dan efisien adalah dengan membuat aplikasi database berbasis Microsoft Access. Fitur report yang dimiliki Microsoft Access dapat mempercepat penyajian data karyawan dengan tanpa adanya proses edit ulang. Tampilan untuk input atau edit data karyawan berupa form secara individual, sehingga dapat menghindari kesalahan dalam memasukkan data, atau tertukarnya data. Fitur notifikasi kontrak karyawan dapat menggantikan pemindaian tanggal kontrak secara manual. Kata kunci: aplikasi, database, kepegawaian, sumber daya manusia.

The development of application of personnel database is made for the Human Resources Department & General Affairs (HRD & GA) division at PT Beton Elemen Persada. PT Beton Elemen Persada produce autoclave aerated concrete blocks (AAC blocks), floor panels, wall panels, dry mortar, and lintel.. HRD & GA in charge of management of employees from recruitment to retirement and in charge of supporting the activities of the company in terms of procurement of goods or services. One of the things handled by the HRD & GA division is the employee database. The employee database managed by HRD & GA division is based on Microsoft Excel software. After observation, some problems found, there are the presentation of employee data manually that must be through re-editing is less efficient, also found error in inputting data on the database caused by lack of accuracy, and the last one is scanning employee contract dates manually is time-consuming and labor-intensive.. The solution for handling employee databases to become more effective and efficient is to create a database application software based on Microsoft Access. Report features in Microsoft Access can accelerate the presentation of employee data with no editing process. In addition, the view to input or edit employee data form is individual form, so as to avoid the mistake of entering data, or data swap.
