Kebutuhan akan teknologi informasi kini semakin meningkat dalam berbagai aspek pekerjaan manusia. Teknologi informasi mampu memberikan kemudahan didalam pengoperasiannya bagi pengguna. Prodi Desain Interior UNIKOM memiliki website namun masih dibuat menggunakan HTML (Hyper Text Markup Languange) dan juga belum responsive, kendala yang terjadi adalah isi konten website tidak berubah-ubah. Website responsive menjadi penting, mengingat banyaknya pengguna internet yang melakukan browsing menggunakan mobile.Pengumuman masih ditempelkan di dalam mading, sehingga mahasiswa harus melihat mading untuk mendapatkan pengumuman terbaru. Selain itu tidak adanya suatu wadah untuk mengumpulkan hasil karya dari mahasiswa, dan kemudian dapat diperlihatkan ke masyarakat luas. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka penulis membuat perancangan website responsive dengan menggunakan metode deskriftif, dengan melakukan pengamatan, pengumpulan data dan mendeskripsikan kegiatan yang terjadi pada tempat penelitian. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan penulis adalah prototype. Alat atau tools yang digunakan dalam merancang sistem adalah flow map, diagram konteks, dan DFD (Data Flow Diagram). Bahasa pemogramman yang digunakan PHP dengan database MySQL. Perancangan dan pembangunan website responsive dari hasil penelitian diharapkan mampu mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi oleh Prodi Desain Interior UNIKOM. Diharapakan sistem yang dibangun ini mampu membantu melakukan pembaruan konten web, pengumuman, galeri, dan juga berita melalui komputer maupun perangkat mobile.

The need for information technology is now increasing in many aspects of human work . Information technology to provide convenience in operation for the user . Interior Design Study of UNIKOM has a website but still made using HTML ( Hyper Text Markup Language) and also not responsive , constraints that happens is the contents of the website content is not changing. Responsive website is important, considering the number of internet users who use mobile browsing . The announcement is still affixed to the inside wall magazine , so students should look Mading to get the latest announcements . Besides the absence of a container to collect the work of the students , and then shown to the public at large .To overcome these problems , the authors make designing responsive websites using descriptive methods , by observing , collecting data and describe the activities that occur at the site of the study . System development methods used by the author is the prototype . Tool or tools used in designing the system is flow map , context diagram , and DFD ( Data Flow Diagram ) . Pemogramman language used PHP with MySQL database .Responsive website designing and development of the research is expected to address the problems faced by Interior Design Study of UNIKOM . It is hoped that the system built is able to help perform the update web content , announcements , galleries , and also news via computer or mobile device .
