Resistor merupakan suatu komponen dasar elektronika yang berfungsi untuk membatasi jumlah arus dalam suatu rangkaian. Tipe resistor yang umum berbentuk tabung dan terdapat beberapa cincin warna. Kode warna pada resistor menunjukan nilai suatu hambatan pada resistor. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian sebelumnya, yang memiliki presentase keberhasilan dalam perhitungan nilai sebesar 57%, untuk salah dikenali 30%, dan tidak dikenali 13%. Maka dari itu, diperlukan sebuah penelitian untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi yang menghitung nilai dengan menggunakan pengolahan citra digital. Metode template matching merupakan salah satu metode terapan dari teknik konvolusi. Prinsip metode ini adalah membandingkan citra objek yang akan dikenali dengan image template yang ada. Bila citra objek memiliki nilai kemiripan tinggi maka image objek akan dikenali. Untuk mengimplementasikan metode template matching diperlukan operasi pengolahan citra yaitu klasifikasi warna HSV (Hue Saturation Value) yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi warna pada resistor. Setelah melakukan pengujian sistem dengan metode Black Box dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa program berfungsi dengan benar. Pada pendeteksian objek memiliki tingkat akurasi 89% dan untuk perhitungan nilai hambatan resistor memiliki tingkat akurasi 69%.

The resistor is a basic component of electronics that serves to limit the amount of current in a circuit. A common resistor type tube-shaped and there are several rings of color. Color code on resistors value indicates an obstacle on the resistor. Based on the results of previous research, which has the percentage of success in the calculation of the value of 57% of identified 30%, and 13% is not recognized. Thus, needed a study to create an application that calculates the value using the digital image processing. Template matching method is one of the applied method of engineering konvolusi. The principle of this method is to compare the image of the object that will be identified with the image of an existing template. When the image object has a value higher then the resemblance image of the object will be identified. Template matching method to implement the necessary image processing operations i.e. color classification HSV (Hue Saturation Value) that is used to detect the color of the resistor. After testing the system with the Black Box method can be drawn the conclusion that the program is functioning correctly. On the detection of objects has a 89% accuracy and the calculation for the value of the resistance of the resistor has a 69% accuracy rate.
