Latar belakang penelitian ini di antaranya adalah kurangnya suasana kondusif dan kemampuan siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPA, guru yang masih cenderung menggunakan metode ceramah sehingga siswa kelas VII D SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo masih monoton dan tidak meningkatkan kondusifitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran TPS dapat meningkatkan kondusifitas pembelajaran siswa kelas VII D SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo pokok bahasan Ekosistem, 2) Bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran TPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII D SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo pokok bahasan Ekosistem. Terdapat dua tujuan penelitian yang dirangkum peneliti adalah meningkatkan kondusifitas pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Pelaksanaan penelitian yaitu 19 Mei 2016 hingga 28 Mei 2016 di kelas VII D SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo. Peneliti menggunakan empat metode pengumpulan data diantaranya, yaitu observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar Cheklist dan soal tes. PTK ini dilakukan 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri empat tahap yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) observasi, dan 4) refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh kondusifitas dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat selama menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan pada siklus I presentase klasikal kondusifitas siswa sebesar 77,6% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 97,4%. Presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada ranah kognitif siklus I mencapai 76,2% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 85,7%, pada ranah afektif siklus I mencapai 57,5% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 76,2%, dan pada ranah psikomotor siklus I mencapai 65,8% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 84,1%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan kondusifitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII D SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo pada mata pelajaran IPA materi pokok ekosistem.

There some background that initiated the research, such as: the lack of students’ conduciveness and the lack of students on IPA, the teachers who still using “speech” method ability so that students of class VII D at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo still monotonous and does not improve conduciveness and student achievement. There are some problem in this research. The are: 1) How is the implementation of TPS learning model able improve student conduciveness of class VII D at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo inte main topic Ecosystem, 2) How can the implementation of TPS learning model improve the students achievement of class VII D at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo in the main topic Ecosystem. There are two goals summarized by the research that are to improvethe students’ conduciveness and improve students’ achievement.The type of the research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The date of the research was on May 19th 2016 up to May 28th 2016 in the class VII D at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo. Researchers used four data collection methodes, such as: observation, interview, test, and documentation. The Research instrument used is the observation checklist and test materials. CAR study was conducted two cycles , each cycle consisting of four phases: 1 ) planning, 2 ) implementation , 3 ) observation , and 4 ) reflection . According to the results of the research, there faoud some improvements on the students’ conduciveness and achievement during the implementation of Think Pair Share learning model. This could be proved by looking at the first cycle. In the phase, the percentage improvement of students’ conduciveness was 77.6% and improved in second cycle about 97.4%. the percentage improvement of the students’ achievement in first cycle was 76.2% and improvement in second cycle about 85.7%. the percentage improvement of the students’ behavior in first cycle was 57.5% and improvement in second cycle about 76.2%, and the percentage improvement of the students’ psychomotor first cycle about 65.8% and improvement in second cycle about 84.1%. The conclusion of the research is the implementation of the Think Pair Share model can improve conduciveness and achievement of class VII D at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Watukebo on IPA in the main topic of ecosystem.
