This research aimed to analyze the influence of Auto Radio 88,9 FM logo fascination to building brand image in Bandung car communities. It analyze the visual elements format of Auto Radio 88,9 FM logo (symbol, color combination, typography) and analyze perception, comprehension, motivation, preference and belief from public of car communities in Bandung to brand of Auto Radio which is visualizationed by Auto Radio 88,9 FM logo.
This research type is quantitative with survey method and correlational analyze technique. While data collecting technique that used was questionaire, interview dan literature study. It population include of car communities in Bandung that registered as loyal public of Auto Radio 88,9 FM per June 2007. The research applied proportional stratified random sampling to get research sample. Validity and reliability testing was applied to every question item in the questionaire used SPSS 14.0 program for Windows Evaluation Version. Data that found from questionaire distribution are scored, analyzed and processed with Likert Scale and Pearson Correlation. Hypothesis testing used manual counting and analyzed with SPSS 14.0 program.
Results from this research shown that there is strong, positive and significant correlation between Auto Radio 88,9 FM logo fascination and building brand image. Hypothesis that has been accepted was H1: There is an influence between Auto Radio 88,9 FM logo fascination to building brand image in Bandung car communities. Then known that influence of Auto Radio 88,9 FM logo fascination to building brand image is 52%, and 48% left influenced by other factors.
Conclusion from this research that corporate logo fascination has strong influence to building brand image. So, it suggests for corporate which is involve into this research, that corporate logo designing should be designed seriously, because it supports good building of brand image.
