Seiring dengan perkembangan ekonomi dan pertumbuhan masyarakat dari tahun ke tahun Provinsi Jawa Barat Khusunya Kabupaten Sumedang, PT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Barat dan Banten melalui keputusan direksi PT. PLN (Persero) No. 120.K/010/DIR/2002 . mengacu pada keputusan tersebut PT. PLN (Persero) Kantor Area Sumedang sebagai salah satu Unit APD Jawa Barat & Banten terus melakukan upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, mengerahkan seluruh dedikasi dan keahliannya untuk memenuhi tuntutan perubahan dan perkembangan kelistrikan yang cenderung dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan . Menjawab ketatnya tantangan kompetisi global dan tuntutan perubahan PT. PLN (Persero) Kantor Area Sumedang terus menata seluruh lini pelayanannya untuk bekerja lebih efisien dan produktif, seraya mengoptimalkan berbagai potensi yang dimiliki. Pada sisi produk, PT. PLN (Persero) Kantor Area Sumedang tidak pernah berhenti melakukan inovasi berdasarkan perhitungan dan benchmack yang cermat (new product development). Sumberdaya dan energi Perusahaan juga difokuskan pada berbagai lini penting agar dapat meningkatkan level produktifitas kinerja sehingga mampu mendorong pencapaian target.

Transformational leadership has been critical to the company where leaders must think critically in making a decision . The purpose of this study was to determine the transformational leadership, Organizational Citizenship Behavior and employee performance, and also to determine the effect of transformational leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on employee performance partially on the PT . PLN ( Persero ) Distribution West Java and Banten Area Office Sumedang.The research method used in this research is descriptive verificative method using linear regression analysis. The unit of analysis of this study were employees of PT . PLN ( Persero ) Distribution West Java and Banten Area Office Sumedang, amounting to 55 people. Population taken all means study population respondents with saturated sampling.The conclusion of this study is Transformational Leadership on PT . PLN ( Persero ) Distribution West Java and Banten Sumedang Area Office perceived by respondents are classified Good leadership, the statement can be seen in Table respondents scored highest on Transformational leadership is in the Individual Attention indicator and lowest scores are the indicators of inspiration. While Organizational Citizenship Behavior PT . PLN ( Persero ) Distribution West Java and Banten Area Office Sumedang is included in the overall category are classified as good . The statement can be seen in Table responder on Organizational Citizenship Behavior Highest scores are on indicators of altruism and lowest scores are the indicators of sportsmanship . PLN ( Persero ) Distribution West Java and Banten Area Office Sumedang partially positive and significant impact on employee performance.
