Terdapat fenomena pada tahun 2010 dan 2014 yang menunjukan bahwa variabel Net Profit Margin meningkat namun tidak diikuti dengan Dividend Payout Ratio-nya serta variabel Current Ratio meningkat namun tidak diikuti dengan Dividend Payout Ratio-nya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh Net Profit Margin dan Current Ratio terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio pada perusahaan sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis linier berganda. Sebelumnya dilakukan juga uji asumsi klasik, diantaranya uji normalitas, uji multikolineritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, dan uji autokorelasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pelanggaran asumsi yang menunjukkan bahwa data telah dapat menggunakan metode analisis linier berganda. Pengujian statistik menggunakan software SPSS 20.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Net Profit Margin mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio dan Current Ratio mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio.

The purpose of this research is to know the extent of the influence of the Net Profit Margin and Current Ratio Dividend Payout Ratio against on companies consumer goods industry sector were listed on the Indonesia stock exchange (idx). The methods used in this research is descriptive method, the quantitative approach with verifikatif. Methods of analysis used was multiple linear analysis method. Previously done also a classic assumption test, including the test of normality, test multikolineritas, heteroskedastisitas test, and a test of autocorrelation. The results show that there is no violation of the assumption that shows that the data has been able to use the method of multiple linear analysis. Statistical testing using the software SPSS 20.0. The results of this research show that the Net Profit Margin has significant effects against the Dividend Payout Ratio and Current Ratio has a significant influence against the Dividend Payout Ratio.
