The purpose of this research is to know how far the influence of understanding the journalism ethics code regulation to the works of journalist in Pikiran Rakyat Daily News. To Known how much the influence are, the researcher try to solve the condition of journalist attention, understand, and accept about the journalism ethic code to the works of journalist in Pikiran Rakyat daily news, and to known target reach get news, works result, write news ability, heart of journalist works, after influences by understanding the journalism ethics code regulation. It kind of Quantitative research, the method of this research is correlation. Data were collected through spread questioners, Interview, and book text. This Population research included 58 people, and the sample is all of the population, because this research is use total sampling. Before spread the questioners, researcher have done validity, and reliability test, used SPSS program to all item in the questioners. Collected data, give score, and analyses by using parametric correlation Pearson Product Moment in SPSS program. The result of the research show the influence value of attention the journalism ethics code regulation to the journalist works in Pikiran Rakyat daily news is 6.05%. Understand to the journalist works in Pikiran Rakyat daily news is 13.92%. The journalism ethics code regulation accepts to the journalist works in Pikiran Rakyat daily news is 2.92%. Except that, the influence value of the journalist works, that take after had influence from understanding the journalism ethics code regulation are, target reach get news 0.20%, result work 4.62%, write news ability 0.20%, heart of journalist works 19.80% Generally, the understanding of journalism ethic code regulation influence the works of journalist in Pikiran Rakyat daily news. But, the correlation value is 0.319 or 10 % it mean that correlation are much strong, one way, and significant. It conclusion that Ho are rejected and Ha are accepted, it means there had an influence between the understanding of journalism ethic code regulation with the works of journalist in Pikiran Rakyat daily news, and their had significant correlation. The Study suggests for the company to give more attention for the journalists. To their condition, because not just understanding the journalism ethics code regulation that affect the work of journalist. That many other things give another affect to the journalist work. Except that, give more infections of understanding and more intensive.
