Dalam berinvestasi para investor maupun calon investor perlu mengumpulkan informasi sebagai salah satu dasar pertimbangan dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi di pasar modal. Pada pasar modal yang efisien, harga saham mencerminkan semua informasi baru. Sumber informasi tersebut dapat diperoleh dengan menganalisis laporan keuangan. Indikator yang digunakan para investor adalah memperhatikan profitabilitasnya karena semakin tinggi laba, semakin tinggi pula return yang akan diperoleh investor Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh profitabilitas dan keputusan investasi terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan otomotif yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2011 -2015 baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa laporan keuangan dan nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan otomotif yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama lima tahun (time series) yaitu tahun 2011-2015. Total sampel 13 data yaitu data keuangan 6 perusahaan selama 5 tahun dengan menggunakan metode non probability sampling dan Sampling purposive. Rancangan analisis yang digunakan ialah analisis regresi linear berganda, uji asumsi klasik, analisis korelasi dan koefisien determinasi parsial dan simultan serta pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji T dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dan keputusan invesatasi berpengaruh positif tapi tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan serta profitabilitas dan keputusan invesatasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

In investing investors or potential investors need to gather information as one of the basic considerations in decision-making of investment in capital markets. On an efficient capital market, stock prices reflect all information. The source of such information can be obtained by analyzing the financial statements. The indicators used by investors are paying attention to profitability because of the higher profit, the higher return that will accrue to investors The goal in this research is to know the magnitude of the influence profitability and investment decisions of companies in the automotive companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange years 2011-2015 either partially or simultaneous. This research method using a descriptive analysis of the research methods and verifikatif. The sample used in this study is in the form of financial statements and the company's value in the automotive companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange for five years (time series) IE 2011-2015 year. A total of 13 samples of data i.e. 6 financial data company for 5 years with the use of methods and Sampling purposive sampling probability. The draft analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test, analysis of correlation and coefficient of determination of partial and simultaneous and hypothesis testing using T-test and F-test. this research results show that the positive effect profitability significantly to the value of the company and the decision of invesatasi positive but not significant effect against the value of the company as well as profitability and the decision of influential invesatasi significantly to the value of the company.
