Ringkasan
The credit volume is a most important part of banking business activity.
Credit volume is one of income resources it will be related to the presence of the
owned liquidity level, because the liquidity level is a measurement of firm`s
capacity in covering any short-tem obligations. Therefore, the frim must be able
to maintain the credit volume in meeting one of the firm`s objectives, that is to
obtain the income. This study has some objectives to identify how the development
of liquidity level (Cash Ratio), credit volume and the identify how much the
influence of liquidity level (Cash Ratio) on the credit volume at PD. BPR
Kuningan branch Cidahu in the three-monthly period of March 2006-March
2007. In this study what becoming the sample is a financial report in the threemonthly
period of March 2006-March 2007.
The method used in this study is a descriptive, analytical and quantitative
method, among of them by using regression analysis, pearson correlation
analysis, with significance level (a ) used is 0,05, determination coefficient and
hypothetical test. The data analysed begin from the three-monthly period of
March 2006-March 2007.
The result of study shows that the development of liquidity level (Cash
Ratio) indicates a relatively decreasing condition, due to the decreased asset
liquid and short term borrowing. The credit volume is relatively increased due to
the increased credit volume in the sectors of agriculture, industry, marketing,
services and other credit volumes at PD. BPR Kuningan branch Cidahu. The
liquidity level (Cash Ratio) has an influence on the credit volume, with the
regression outcome value of a equal to. 499 . 7533382 having meaning that all
changes in storey level of likuiditas (Cash Ratio) will make balance to with ready
change of credit volume value of b equal to 84 . 12051077 - , hence each every
accretion and also degradation of storey level of likuiditas (Cash Ratio) will make
balance to with ready degradation or accretion of credit volume equal to
84 . 12051077 - , whereas the correlation outcome states that the magnitude of “r”
is -0.961 with tcount is -6.006, the influence level is 92.3%, including very closely
related influence and the remain is affected by other factors.
