Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel Current Ratio (CR) terhadap Return on Equity (ROE).Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan metode verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan seperti neraca dan laporan laba rugi. Sampel untuk melakukan penelitian ini diambil dari data perusahaan sejak berbentuk PERSERO selama 6 tahun yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Pengujian statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana, uji asumsi klasik, analisis korelasi pearson, koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis yang dihitung secara manual dan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 20.0 for windows.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara Current Ratio terhadap Return On Equity. Tingkat keeratan hubungan (korelasi) kedua variabel kuat yaitu r=0,643, artinya jika Current Ratio menurun, maka Retun On Equity meningkat, dan sebaliknya. Tingkat pengaruh yang dicapai adalah sebesar 41,40% dan sisanya sebesar 58,60% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yaitu Debt to Equity Ratio. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yaitu dengan menggunakan uji t, diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 1,188 dan nilai ttabel sebesar 2,45. Berdasarkan nilai thitung tersebut, maka thitung

This research is performed in order to test the influence of variabel, Current Ratio (CR) toward Retrun on Equity (ROE). The method used is descriptive method and verification method with quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data from financial statements such as balance sheet and income statement. The sampels for the study taken since the company become PERSERO for 6 years listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia. The test statistic used is a simple linear regression analysis, the classical assumption test, pearson correlation analysis, the coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing are calculated manually and make use of the application SPSS 20.0 for windows. Based on the results of the study showed that there are significant between the Current Ratio toward Return On Equity. Level of the relationship(correlation) between the two variables, namely strong r=0,643, maning that if the Current Ratio decreases, then the Return On Equity increases and vice versa, because the relationship is not unidirectional. The degree of influence is achieved at 41,40% and the balance of 58,60% is a affected by other factors, namely Debt to Equity Ratio.
