Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengelolaan aset peralatan laboratorium air di Balai Pengujian ESDM, meliputi : mengetahui perencanaan kebutuhan peralatan laboratorium, mengetahui perencanaan perbaikan peralatan laboratorium, mengetahui berapa jumlah sumber daya manusia yang efektif dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan pelayanan pengujian, mengetahui pemeliharaan yang dilakukan oleh balai pengujian ESDM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode diskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi dengan pengelola. Dari hasil penelitian mengenai pengelolaan Aset peralatan laboratorium air di Balai Pengujian ESDM menunjukan Perencanaan pengadaan Peralatan Laboratorium peralatan kondisi rusak berat, perlu dilakukan tindakan perencanaan kebutuhan peralatan yaitu : DO meter, Lutron 5510, Hydride Vapor Generator, (HVG), Konduktivity meter, Oven, pH electrode, pH elektrode, pH/mV meter, pH/mV meter, Ruang asam, Spektrofotometer serapan Atom (AAS), Spektrofotometer UV-Vis, Water cheker; Tindakan perbaikan dilakukan pada peralatan dengan kondisi rusak ringan, yaitu mengganti komponen suku cadang, berupa : Penyetelan kopresor, ganti per, penggantian IC, penggantian elemen pemanas, penyetelan prisma, penggantian motor, ganti elektroda, tera ulang, ganti O-ring, penggantian pintu, perbaikan gas control, ganti kaca; Untuk kebutuhan Sumber daya Manusia perlu ditambah tenaga teknisi; Kegiatan pemeliharaan peralatan laboratorium di Balai ESDM, meliputi : Kegiatan Inspeksi (Inspection), Teknik (Engineering), Produksi (Production), Administrasi (Clearical work)Jadwal pemeliharaan peralatan laboratorium belum melakukan jawdal pemeliharaan harian dan mingguan, berkaitan dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan pelayanan.
