Pengembangan Aplikasi Reservasi Meja Makan Restoran di Kota Bandung Berbasis Android

Reservasi meja makan merupakan suatu layanan untuk memberikan kepastian meja yang akan ditempati oleh pemesan. Saat ini layanan reservasi meja yang disediakan oleh restoran yaitu datang langsung ke restoran yang akan menjadi tempat reservasi atau melalui media telepon. Proses reservasi seperti ini memiliki kekurangan yaitu pemesan tidak tahu informasi restoran secara detail, jika jarak pemesan ke restoran jauh akan memakan waktu dan tenaga yang lebih untuk melakukan reservasi. Pencatatan reservasi dilakukan secara manual ke dalam kertas. Pencatatan manual ini menyebabkan data reservasi mudah hilang. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk mengurangi waktu dan tenaga yang dikeluarkan oleh pemesan maka dibangun suatu aplikasi yang membantu pemesan untuk memilih restoran dan melakukan reservasi. Proses pemilihan restoran diperoleh dengan menerapkan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Selain membantu pemesan, aplikasi juga akan membantu restoran untuk mengelola data reservasi secara digital dan proses pembatalan reservasi. Proses pengembangan aplikasi dijalankan sesuai dengan model software process waterfall. Sedangkan implementasi aplikasi dilakukan dengan pendekatan berorientasi objek. Aplikasi Reservasi Meja Makan yang dikembangkan akan mampu menangani proses reservasi dari sisi pemesan dan dari sisi restoran yang dioperasikan oleh petugas reservasi. Proses yang dilakukan dari sisi pemesan adalah membuat reservasi, membatalkan reservasi, memberikan ulasan, dan mencari restoran. Sedangkan dari sisi restoran yang dioperasikan oleh petugas reservasi adalah proses penerimaan dan penolakan reservasi, dan verifikasi kedatangan pemesan. Reservasi yang tidak terjadi akan dibatalkan oleh aplikasi secara otomatis dan mengirimkan notifikasi ke kedua belah pihak. Dining table reservation is a service to provide certainty of the table that will be occupied by the customer. Currently the table reservation service provided by the restaurant is to come directly to the restaurant that will be the place of the reservation or via telephone. This reservation process has a disadvantage that the customer does not know the restaurant information in detail, if the distance between customer and restaurant is far away it will take more time and energy to make a reservation. Reservation data is done manually on the paper. This manually recording causes reservation data to lost easily. The solution offered to reduce the time and energy spent by the customer is by building an application that helps the customer to choose a restaurant and make a reservation. The restaurant selection process is obtained by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). In addition to helping customers, the application will also help restaurants to digitally manage reservation data and manage reservation cancelation process. The application development process is run in accordance with the software process waterfall model where application implementation is carried out with an object oriented approach. The Dining Table Reservations Application developed will be able to handle the reservation process from the customer side and from the restaurant side which is operated by the reservation desk. The process carried out from the customer side is to make a reservation, cancel a reservation, leave a review, and find a restaurant. Whereas in terms of restaurants is the process of accepting and rejecting reservations, and verifying customer arrivals. When it is not happened, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and application send notification to both customer and restaurant.
